Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing commercial interior concepts, layouts, and presentations for client projects. This full-time, on-site role is based in Karwar and involves assisting with space planning, preparing mood boards, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E under guidance from senior designers. The role includes helping produce construction drawings and documentation, updating design revisions, and aligning designs with brand and functional requirements. The Junior Interior Designer will collaborate with architects, AI specialists, and project stakeholders, participate in site visits and measurements, and help ensure that design solutions are practical, compliant, and visually compelling. The position also involves maintaining project files, supporting client presentations, and staying current with design trends, sustainable solutions, and relevant technologies.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to support functional, aesthetic, and brand-aligned commercial environments.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to assist with technical documentation, detailing, and coordination with project teams.
• Candidates should possess skills in FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection and coordination to ensure cohesive, high-quality, and cost-effective design solutions.
• Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic familiarity with visualization tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects under supervision.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and interacting with clients.
• Interest in technology-driven design, AI-enabled workflows, and willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.
