Job Description

Role: Junior Full‑Stack Engineer (AI‑Native) — Cognition Infrastructure

Category Creation | In‑Office | 0–2 Years Experience | Full‑Time

About YE‑Stack

YE‑Stack is building a novel cognition‑centric engineering architecture — not just another SaaS product. Our work sits at the intersection of systems design, intelligence infrastructure, AI‑augmented engineering, and category creation.

We do not hire engineers to merely ship features.

We hire people to design systems, build cognitive leverage, automate complexity, and shape how engineering itself is done.

This role is for builders who want to operate at the frontier — using generative AI, tooling, and systems thinking to achieve 10x execution velocity.

Why This Is Not a Regular Full‑Stack Role

Most engineering roles optimize for:

  • Writing code in a fixed stack
  • Delivering scoped features
  • Following predefined product roadmaps

This role optimizes for:

  • Architectural reasoning over feature delivery
  • Leverage over effort
  • Systems thinking over framework loyalty
  • AI‑augmented execution over manual coding
  • Category creation over incremental iteration

You will work directly with the CTO and system architects to build foundational cognition infrastructure — not just UI screens or APIs.

What You Will Work OnCognition Infrastructure & Systems

  • Designing and implementing core architectural abstractions
  • Building foundational cognition & intelligence infrastructure
  • Reasoning about system boundaries, primitives, and complexity reduction

AI‑Augmented Engineering

  • Using LLMs and AI tools to accelerate development workflows
  • Building AI agents, copilots, automation pipelines, and internal tooling
  • Leveraging AI for code generation, refactoring, debugging, testing, and architecture exploration

Full‑Stack & Systems Execution

  • Working across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and integrations
  • Prototyping fast, iterating faster, and shipping high‑impact systems
  • Designing APIs, workflows, orchestration layers, and automation logic

Automation & Leverage

  • Building tools that remove repetitive work — including your own
  • Creating scripts, internal platforms, and developer productivity systems
  • Thinking in terms of scalable leverage instead of linear effort

Category Creation & Exploration

  • Participating in shaping new product categories and technical directions
  • Operating in ambiguous, evolving, and frontier problem spaces
  • Experimenting with new workflows, tools, and system paradigms

Who Should Apply

We are intentionally seeking early‑career engineers (0–2 years) or exceptional fresh graduates who value:

Technical Breadth Over Narrow Depth

  • Exposure to multiple programming languages, frameworks, or ecosystems
  • Comfort learning new tools quickly
  • Curiosity beyond a single stack

AI‑First & Automation Mindset

  • Experience using LLMs or AI‑powered dev tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, GPT, LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)
  • Interest in building AI agents, automation workflows, or internal tooling
  • Habit of using AI to increase speed, reduce friction, and explore ideas

Systems & Architecture Curiosity

  • Interest in system design, architecture, infrastructure, and abstractions
  • Ability to reason about complex systems and simplify them
  • Excitement about cognition, intelligence, decision systems, and technical primitives

Builder & Execution Traits

  • Bias toward shipping and learning over perfection
  • Comfort operating without fully defined specs
  • Willingness to take ownership, experiment, and iterate fast
  • Not rigid about “how software must be built”

Culture & Work Style

  • Willing to work in‑office and collaborate closely with senior technical leadership
  • Open to mentorship, shaping, and long‑term growth into core technical roles

Bonus Signals (Not Required)

  • Built side projects, automation tools, bots, or internal utilities
  • Experience with AI orchestration frameworks, agents, or pipelines
  • Interest in cognitive science, intelligence systems, or complex adaptive systems
  • Demonstrated ability to self‑teach advanced tools quickly
