Junior Finance / Controlling

Europe’s electricity grids are being modernized at scale. EnerGrid develops smart grid hardware that helps utilities stabilize and digitize low-voltage networks.

We are looking for a Junior Finance / Controlling professional who wants to grow with the company and build a strong foundation in industrial finance.

This is a junior role with real impact — and strong mentorship from founders and leadership.

Support the financial backbone of a company that is scaling product development, manufacturing, and utility sales.

You will work closely with leadership and gain exposure to real business decisions — step by step.

·      Support product-level cost and margin analysis

·      Track BOM costs and supplier price changes

·      Assist in modeling how production scales from smaller to larger volumes

You will learn how engineering and manufacturing decisions affect profitability.

·      Help monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and inventory

·      Support analysis of long-lead-time components and procurement planning

·      Assist in forecasting liquidity during production ramp-up

You will understand how growth impacts cash flow in a hardware business.

·      Support analysis of product sales vs leasing or service models

·      Assist in pricing and margin structure analysis

·      Contribute to materials prepared for investors and funding discussions

You will gain exposure to capital raise preparation and strategic financial thinking.

·      Help prepare monthly financial dashboards

·      Support development of simple, scalable controlling processes

·      Translate numbers into clear, structured insights

Over time, you will take increasing ownership of financial planning and controlling tasks.

·      Background in finance, economics, engineering management, or similar

·      Strong analytical thinking and interest in how businesses work

·      Good Excel skills (you don’t need to be perfect — but willing to learn fast)

·      Structured communicator — able to explain numbers clearly

·      High ownership mentality and attention to detail

·      Interest in manufacturing, infrastructure, or technology businesses

·      Fluent Hungarian and strong English

Experience in controlling, audit, transaction services, or manufacturing finance is a plus — but not required.
