Overview

The Junior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) supports daily operations by assisting in the implementation and monitoring of environmental, health, and safety programs. This role helps ensure compliance with local and international regulations, promotes a safe working environment, and supports sustainability initiatives across projects and operations.

Main Core Responsibilities

1. Program Development & Compliance

• Assist in implementing EHS policies and procedures in alignment with OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001 / ISO 45001, and local regulations.

• Support audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.

• Assist with permits, regulatory reporting, and coordination during inspections.

2. Incident Management & Training

• Support investigations of incidents, near-misses, and environmental spills, and help follow up on corrective actions.

• Assist in developing and delivering EHS training programs (e.g., hazardous materials handling, emergency response).

3. Environmental Stewardship

• Support waste management, emissions control, and pollution prevention activities.

• Assist with sustainability initiatives such as energy efficiency and carbon footprint reduction.

4. Emergency Preparedness

• Support the maintenance and testing of emergency response plans, including spill control and evacuation drills.

Requirements *Depend on the position*

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in EHS, HSE, or a related role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Good knowledge of EHS regulations and standards is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
