• Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Engineer to handle on-site operations and maintenance of ground-mounted solar power plants. The role involves monitoring plant performance, executing preventive and breakdown maintenance, and ensuring optimal energy generation with minimum downtime.

• Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations

- Monitor daily plant performance (generation, PR, CUF)

- Ensure maximum uptime of the plant

- Coordinate with SCADA team for real-time monitoring

2. Preventive Maintenance

- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance of modules, inverters, transformers, and HT/LT panels

- Ensure module cleaning as per schedule

- Maintain maintenance logs and checklists

3. Breakdown Maintenance

- Identify faults in solar modules, inverters, cables, and electrical systems

- Troubleshoot and rectify issues to minimize downtime

- Escalate critical issues to senior engineers

4. Electrical System Handling

- Basic handling of HT/LT systems, transformers, and switchgear

- Ensure safety procedures during electrical operations

- Assist in shutdown and startup activities

5. Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain daily generation and downtime reports

- Prepare incident reports and maintenance records

- Update logs for audits and compliance

6. Site Management

- Supervise technicians and cleaning teams

- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety at site

- Monitor security and asset safety

• Qualifications & Skills

• Education

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

• Experience

- 0–2 years in solar O&M / electrical maintenance

- Freshers with strong fundamentals can apply

• Skills Required

- Basic knowledge of solar power plant operations

- Understanding of inverters, transformers, and electrical systems

- Familiarity with SCADA monitoring (preferred)

- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Willingness to work at remote site locations
