Junior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the development, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines and data integration processes
• Collect, transform, and validate structured and unstructured data from different sources
• Assist in designing and maintaining scalable data solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and support data-driven initiatives
• Help ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across different systems
• Support the development of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
• Contribute to documenting data processes, workflows, and technical solutions
• Learn and work with modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and data engineering tools
  
  

Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Knowledge of SQL and Python through academic projects, internships, personal projects, or training
• Basic understanding of data engineering and data analytics concepts
• Familiarity with Databricks, cloud platforms, or data processing tools is a plus
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical tasks with guidance
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
