Role Description:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cybersecurity Analyst with a Security Operations focus to join our growing team in a full-time hybrid role. This role is ideal for individuals ready to take the next step in their cybersecurity career and work in a real security operations environment. You’ll be part of the front line defending client networks, monitoring alerts, investigating anomalies, and assisting with incident response. While the majority of your duties will focus on security operations, you’ll also gain experience in vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and identity and access management across diverse environments.


This position is designed for candidates with a strong foundation in IT or networking, a passion for cybersecurity, and an eagerness to learn from experienced professionals in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts to detect and respond to potential incidents
  • Assist with triage, containment, and investigation of suspicious activity
  • Support the development and tuning of detection rules and playbooks
  • Participate in vulnerability management, patch verification, and remediation tracking
  • Help document incidents, investigations, and operational improvements
  • Contribute to client reporting and security posture improvement efforts
  • Stay informed on emerging threats and evolving attack techniques


What We’re Looking For

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of IT, networking, or helpdesk experience preferred
  • Foundational certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CC, or equivalent knowledge
  • Strong technical curiosity and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to pass an NCIC background check
