SBNRI is on a mission to simplify financial life for NRIs worldwide. We’re looking for a Junior Backend Developer from a Tier 1,2 engineering college to join our fast-growing fintech startup and build scalable backend systems.

• Strong backend engineering in Python (designing services, APIs, and data pipelines)
• Database design and data modeling (SQL + NoSQL) with clear tradeoffs
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code
• System design: scalability, reliability, performance, caching, and async processing
• Debugging + production readiness (logs, monitoring, incident handling)
• Ownership mindset: drives features end‑to‑end and improves team quality

Nice‑to‑have

• Django/DRF (but not mandatory)
• MongoDB/Postgres experience
• Cloud basics (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, Docker
