Job Description

Appbay Technologies is seeking a Junior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in Jaipur. This role is ideal for passionate individuals with a strong foundation in backend development, eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable backend systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications.
  • Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design and optimize queries for performance.
  • Debug and resolve issues, ensuring optimal application performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes.
  • Assist in integrating third-party tools and APIs into the application architecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in backend development or software engineering.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (Python, Java, Node.js, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and server-side technologies.
  • Familiarity with API development and integration.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • A problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Basic understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture.
