Junior Architect

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in New Delhi. The position is primarily focused on architectural drafting, technical documentation, and supporting project delivery. The Junior Architect will prepare accurate working drawings, construction documentation, detailed plans, sections, elevations, and drawing sets in coordination with senior architects.

Day-to-day responsibilities include revising drawings based on design and consultant inputs, maintaining drawing standards, assisting in the preparation of municipal and construction documentation, and ensuring project files remain organized and up to date. The role also involves coordinating with consultants to incorporate technical information, participating in site visits for documentation and verification when required, and supporting the team in meeting project deadlines through efficient drafting and documentation workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in architectural drafting, technical documentation, or project execution.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; working knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of architectural drafting standards, construction drawings, detailing, and technical documentation.
• Ability to accurately prepare plans, sections, elevations, details, and coordinated drawing packages.
• Familiarity with building materials, construction methods, and the integration of consultant drawings.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage revisions, maintain drawing records, and work efficiently under deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills for working with architects, consultants, and project teams.
• Willingness to learn studio workflows, adapt to project requirements, and contribute to a collaborative, detail-oriented work environment.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in New Delhi.
