Junior Architect (Architecture & Interior Projects)

An architectural practice is hiring a Junior Architect with an experience range of 1-2 years, to support design development, documentation, and site coordination across live projects in Kochi. The role involves working closely with senior architects on drawings, visualization, presentations, and execution-related coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, and working drawings.
• Develop 2D drawings using AutoCAD and assist with basic 3D modelling using SketchUp.
• Prepare renders using Lumion and D5 Render.
• Support preparation of presentation drawings and related documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers for site measurements and execution drawings.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, specifications, and basic cost estimates.
• Participate in project site visits and support site supervision and coordination activities.
• Revise drawings based on client feedback or senior architect instructions.
• Maintain organised documentation of drawings and project files.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
• 1–2 years of professional experience.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of SketchUp and 3D visualisation tools.
• Familiarity with Lumion and D5 Render is an advantage.
• Understanding of building materials, construction methods, and architectural drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Work Schedule

• Location: Kochi, Kerala
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday (9:30 am to 6:30 pm)
• Work Mode: Work from office
