We’re looking for an Android Developer (Kotlin) who is passionate about building high-quality mobile applications using modern Android development practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, ensure top-notch performance, and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient Android apps. 📍 Location: Remote 🧠 Experience: Minimum 1 year 📈 Salary: 25,000 INR/month 🌟 Our Values User First Approach Honest & Constructive Communication Constant Improvement Planning & Long-Term Thinking 🎯 Core Responsibilities Agile & Collaboration Complete development tasks within sprint timelines and commitments Provide daily updates during stand-up (DSM) meetings Participate in all Agile ceremonies — standups, planning, grooming, retrospectives Collaborate with QA to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues Communicate blockers/delays proactively to leads or manager Coordinate with UI/UX designers for screen and flow clarity Review requirements before starting development Application Development Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications Implement UI using Material Design (Jetpack Compose or XML) Ensure app responsiveness and compatibility across devices and Android versions Continuous Improvement Stay updated with modern Android frameworks, Jetpack Compose, Google I/O announcements Refactor legacy code and introduce relevant modern practices Testing & Debugging Write unit tests and UI tests Debug using Android Studio profiler and tools Performance Optimization Identify and fix memory leaks, ANRs, and crashes Optimize app load time, network calls, and battery usage API & Backend Integration Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and third-party SDKs Handle API responses securely and efficiently 📅 Monthly Goals Complete assigned sprint tasks within deadlines Reduce bug reopening rates and improve code quality Maintain app stability with lower crash rates Improve app performance metrics through optimization Support successful release cycles with QA collaboration 👤 Ideal Candidate Strong foundation in Activities, Fragments, navigation, lifecycle, services, background tasks, and permissions Proficiency with REST APIs (Retrofit, OkHttp), JSON handling, and secure network calls Hands-on experience with Git, Gradle (including KTS), build variants Ability to implement clean architecture and reusable UI components Strong debugging & performance optimization capability Understanding of secure coding standards and encrypted storage practices 🛠 Tools & Platforms Development: Android Studio, Android Emulator, Physical Android Device Version Control: Git/GitHub Design Collaboration: Figma Testing: Android Studio Profiler, Unit/UI Test Frameworks Backend: Firebase, GCP Other : Google play, Google play services, Onesignal, Jira or similar 🎓 Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred) Minimum 1 year of hands-on Android development experience ⏰ Availability Full-time (Monday to Friday) 40 hours/week Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
