As part of our fast-growing product and engineering team, we are looking for talented Android developers who can contribute to building next-generation IPTV and streaming applications. Position Overview We are hiring a Junior Android Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience , preferably with exposure to IPTV, OTT, or Android Set-Top Box (STB) environments. This role is ideal for developers who are eager to work on media streaming applications and grow into advanced STB/Android TV development. Immediate joiners are highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Android applications for mobile, TV, and STB platforms. Work with media playback components like ExoPlayer/Media3. Integrate APIs, video players, CDN SDKs, and DRM modules (as needed). Collaborate with product and backend teams for feature development. Debug and optimize application performance across multiple Android devices. Work on CI/CD processes and support QA/testing. Stay updated with the latest Android TV and OTT ecosystem trends. Required Skills 3?5 years of Android development experience. Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Android SDK , and Jetpack components. Good understanding of Media3/ExoPlayer and streaming protocols (HLS, MPEG-DASH). Experience with Retrofit, WebSocket, OTT APIs , and REST integrations. Familiarity with MVVM/MVP , Clean Architecture, and dependency injection (Hilt preferred). Knowledge of Android TV frameworks, AOSP, or custom launchers is an added advantage. Experience working with multicast streams will be a plus. Preferred Experience Exposure to OTT, IPTV, or media streaming apps. Experience working on Android TV, Fire TV, or STB applications.
