Junior Accountant

Role Description The Junior Accountant role at IDPT - Indodeutsche Precision Tubes is a full-time, on-site position based in Jhajjar. The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, including posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Responsibilities include processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with compliance and audits, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial documentation. The Junior Accountant is expected to follow established accounting procedures, use accounting software and Excel effectively, and provide support to the senior finance team as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial record-keeping.
• Ability to work with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and proficiency in MS Excel for data entry and analysis.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills for collaborating with internal departments and responding to vendor and stakeholder queries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant internships or 0–2 years of experience in accounting preferred.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance; experience supporting audits or financial reviews is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Jhajjar, maintain confidentiality of financial information, and adhere to company policies and ethics.
