Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Software Tester with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in manual and automated testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications by executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand project requirements and functional specifications.
  • Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
  • Perform manual testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.
  • Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve product quality.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and QA meetings.
  • Assist in preparing test reports and quality documentation.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities.

Required Skills:

  • Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
  • Knowledge of manual testing concepts and defect life cycle.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, browser testing).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

  • Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
