JOURNALISM RESEARCHER - INTERN Job Type: Full-time Description Studio Underground Duration: 6-month Internship (with the possibility of extension) Studio Underground is a premier production house with a strong presence in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Haryana. We are empanelled with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) for various state governments. Our state-of-the-art production facility in Dehradun also serves as our corporate office. We specialize in working on major projects for central and state governments, boasting an excellent track record and a robust in-house team. Role Overview: We?re seeking a creative and motivated Journalism Researcher (Interns) to assist with research for documentary projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about journalism and documentary film making, eager to contribute ideas and learn through hands-on experience. Key Responsibilities Assist in conducting in-depth research for documentary projects, ensuring that the information is accurate, current, and relevant. Source and curate content (interviews, archival materials, etc.) for documentaries. Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills. Ability to think critically and creatively when sourcing information and developing ideas. Support the production team by providing research assistance during pre-production, production, and post-production phases. Keen interest in the media industry, especially documentary filmmaking and investigative journalism. A proactive approach to tasks with a willingness to take initiative Qualifications And Skills Educational Requirement: A Bachelor?s degree (or in progress) in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field. Strong passion for journalism and documentary film making. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Creative, curious, and proactive with a willingness to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office familiarity with research tools is a plus.
