Job Description

Role Purpose :

Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of TBS solutions, ensuring predictable, high-quality, and value-driven outcomes aligned to Jet2 strategic priorities.

The Technical Delivery Manager will lead the delivery of automation, low-code, and AI-enabled solutions across the TBS portfolio, ensuring strong governance, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery Ownership & Execution :
  • Own end-to-end delivery lifecycle from discovery through to BAU.
  • Ensure all delivery aligns to the TBS delivery lifecycle and system design standards across technologies.
  • Maintain clear oversight of status, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure solutions are delivered on time, to scope, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Demand & Prioritisation :
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape demand aligned to value, feasibility, and complexity.
  • Support governance processes including Front Door and SteerCo prioritisation.
  • Ensure only appropriate, high-value initiatives progress into delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management :
  • Act as the primary interface between Business, TBS, and Delivery teams.
  • Provide clear, concise, executive-ready updates.
  • Build strong relationships through consistent, outcome-focused delivery.
  • Team Leadership & Delivery Performance :
  • Lead a technical function within TBS Hub.
  • Support the cross-functional team (Developers, BAs, SMEs).
  • Drive a high-performance, delivery-focused culture.
  • Ensure alignment across roles to reduce rework and improve flow.
  • Act as a Final Reviewer and escalation point for design and delivery issues.
  • Governance, Risk & Control :
  • Ensure adherence to TBS governance, standards, and controls.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • Ensure all solutions meet security, regulatory, and operational standards.
  • Value Realisation & Reporting :
  • Ensure all solutions have defined, tracked, and realised benefits.
  • Provide consistent delivery and value reporting to SteerCo.
  • Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation :
  • Drive improvements in delivery speed, quality, and consistency.
  • Promote adoption of new automation, AI, and low-code capabilities.
  • Support scaling of the TBS toolkit.

Delivery Performance :

  • 80% of initiatives delivered on time and to agreed scope.
  • 10% of deployments with high-severity post go-live defects.
  • 95% solution success rate / availability in BAU.

Governance & Control

  • 100% adherence to TBS delivery lifecycle and governance.
  • 100% compliance with security, regulatory, and documentation standards.
  • All key risks, issues, and dependencies tracked and reported regularly.

Skills & Experience Essential

  • Proven experience delivering technology or automation solutions end-to-end.
  • Strong understanding of delivery governance, risk, and control frameworks.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams.
  • Strong communication and executive reporting capability.
  • Experience driving process optimisation and automation initiatives.
  • Experience with Power Platform, RPA, or AI-enabled automation.
  • Exposure to AWS or cloud-based delivery environments.
  • Experience in benefits tracking and ROI frameworks.
  • Understanding of development and low-code enablement.
