About The Role We are looking for a highly capable Backend Developer who can understand business and technical requirements, translate them into scalable backend solutions, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The role involves backend development, team mentoring, and active participation in Agile processes. Key Objectives / Responsibilities Understand UI requirements, backend architecture, and data design to develop efficient backend components. Perform backend development using Java 1.8+, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, and RESTful Web Services. Work with MySQL, MongoDB, Docker, and Azure Data Factory for application integration and data handling. Collaborate with Architects, UI Developers, Backend Engineers, DBAs, and Data Analytics Teams to ensure smooth, unified delivery. Lead and mentor a small team of developers, ensuring best coding and architectural practices. Participate and contribute in Agile/Scrum processes for planning, execution, and delivery. Mandatory Skills & Tools Java 1.8+ Spring Ecosystem: Spring MVC, Spring AOP, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Config, Spring Data REST, Spring Scheduler JPA/Hibernate & MySQL Working knowledge in Azure, Git, version control systems, and event-driven architecture Experience with Messaging Queues (preferably Apache Kafka) CI/CD Pipeline implementation and usage Ability to design and implement solutions with scalability, multithreading, and concurrency in mind RESTful Web Services development and testing Docker, load & performance testing, testing REST APIs Basic Shell Commands and experience working in Linux Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and a proactive, self-driven attitude Good To Have (Desirable Skills) MongoDB Microservices Architecture Kubernetes Docker Hub Preferred Qualification BE / B. Tech in any engineering discipline
