Role - Java Backend Developer Key Responsibilities The primary focus areas for this role include: ? Core Backend Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable microservices and APIs using enterprise-grade Java and the Spring Boot framework. ? Real-Time Data Pipelines: Architect, develop, and deploy complex stream processing applications using Apache Flink to handle massive volumes of real-time data with low latency. ? Performance Optimization: Proactively identify bottlenecks, tune Flink jobs and associated services, and implement advanced techniques for Data Pipeline Optimisation to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. ? AWS Cloud Native Deployment: Leverage expertise in AWS services (e.g., Kinesis, S3, EC2, ECS/EKS) to ensure reliable, highly available, and scalable deployment of all backend and data processing systems. ? Algorithmic Excellence: Apply a strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Data Structures (DS) and Algorithms to devise elegant and highly efficient solutions to core system and data processing challenges. ? Mentorship & Standards: Serve as a technical leader, establishing best practices for code quality, testing, and continuous deployment (CI/CD). ?? Required Skills and Experience ? Java & Spring Boot: 5+ years of experience. Expert in modern Java (Java 11+) and building production-ready microservices with Spring Boot. ? Apache Flink: Deep, hands-on experience designing, implementing, and running high-volume, low-latency Flink applications for stream processing. ? AWS: Strong working knowledge of core AWS services necessary for deploying and operating distributed, cloud-native applications. ? DS & Algorithms: Exceptional understanding and practical application of Data Structures and Algorithms to solve large-scale performance and logic problems. ? Data Pipeline Optimisation: Documented success in improving the performance, resilience, and operational cost of complex data workflows. ?? Desired Qualifications ? Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration. ? Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation). ? Experience with other related data technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark).
