Role Description The Java Software Developer role at MyTechCare is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The developer will design, build, and maintain Java-based applications that support internal operations and customer-facing systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing code, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The role involves working with microservices architectures, integrating APIs, and using the Spring Framework to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software. The developer will participate in code reviews, follow best practices for testing and documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Programming and Java, with practical experience building production-ready applications.
• Hands-on experience with Software Development lifecycle practices, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture, including service integration, scalability, and reliability.
• Proficiency with Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) for backend development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with relational databases, RESTful APIs, and version control tools (such as Git).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Comfort working in a collaborative team environment and communicating technical concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker), cloud platforms, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
