Java Kotlin Fullstack Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Fullstack Engineer with strong experience in building scalable, cloud-native applications using Java/Kotlin. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in designing and developing REST and GraphQL APIs, working with AWS cloud services, and implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka or Pulsar. Exposure to Node.js and React is highly desirable, as the role may involve contributing across the full stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Build and enhance RESTful and GraphQL APIs for enterprise-scale applications.
• Develop microservices-based solutions with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or Pulsar.
• Design and optimize data models, integrations, and backend workflows.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS using cloud-native services and best practices.
• Contribute to frontend development using React and Node.js when required.
• Follow Agile development practices and drive engineering excellence through automation and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs and GraphQL services.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and distributed systems design.
• Experience with messaging/event-streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, system scalability, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node.js and React.js.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.
