Java Integration Specialist (Bangalore) Location:?Bangalore (work from Office) Experience:?3+ Years Notice Period:?Immediate joiners / candidates with ?30 days preferred About the Role We?re looking for an experienced?Java Integration Specialist?to join our high-performance engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex integration challenges, building scalable API-driven systems, and collaborating cross-functionally to connect products that serve global customers. You?ll play a key role in designing and maintaining the backend and integration layers powering various partner and internal applications, helping us scale our next-generation travel-tech platform. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy?Java-based integration services?and microservices. Work with?RESTful APIs, third-party system integrations, and payment/fintech connectors. Collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following standard design patterns and secure coding principles. Participate in code reviews and continuous optimization to ensure system scalability and high performance. Troubleshoot integration bottlenecks, monitor production systems, and contribute to system uptime. Support continuous integration (CI/CD) and contribute to automation initiatives for faster deployments. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum?3+ years of hands-on experience?in Java development and integration projects. Strong expertise in?Core Java (Java 8+),?Spring Boot, and?Spring Data JPA. Proficiency in?REST APIs,?JSON, and designing?Microservices Architectures. Experience integrating third-party services ? payments, airlines, hotels, or fintech APIs preferred. Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Solid understanding of version control (Git, Bitbucket) and build tools like?Maven. Hands-on knowledge with?JUnit, Mockito?for unit testing. Familiarity with cloud-based deployment (AWS / Azure / GCP) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) or API gateways is a plus.
