Senior Production Support Engineer (Java & Azure Cloud) About The Role We are looking for a Senior Production Support Engineer to join our team to lead a small group of Engineers and ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our production environment. This role combines technical expertise with strong collaboration skills to manage incidents, optimize systems, and deliver exceptional client support. Key Responsibilities Proactively engage with clients and stakeholders to align on product changes and incident resolutions. Rapidly identify, triage, and resolve production incidents with root cause analysis. Monitor application health daily using logs, dashboards, and metrics. Provide 24/7 support for critical production systems, including on-call rotation. Analyze and refine system alerts to reduce noise and improve accuracy. Manage application certificate renewals to prevent service disruptions. Use JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint for change management and documentation. Maintain clear, up-to-date process documentation. Identify and implement product performance optimizations. Technical Skills Strong experience in Java 8-17, Terraform, Microservices (RESTful and Events), and frameworks like Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data JPA, Security), Apache Camel, JMS, Hibernate, Maven, Gradle, ELK stack, NodeJS. Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud (serverless infrastructure, Service Bus, Dataverse, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Alerts, Azure App Services). Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. Proficiency in GitHub/GitLab, version control, and DevOps practices (Azure ADO). Unit and functional test automation using JUnit and Mockito. Database expertise: Postgres, SQL, Oracle, and ORM tools like JPA2, Hibernate. Excellent technical documentation and presentation skills
