Key Responsibilities Backend (Java / Spring) Design and develop backend services using Java 8+ and Spring Boot / Spring MVC / Spring Data / Spring Security . Build microservices with focus on scalability, resilience, observability, and API contract integrity. Develop and optimize RESTful APIs , data-processing components, and backend workflows. Apply DDD, clean architecture , design patterns, and secure coding practices. Work with RDBMS (schema design, query optimization, indexing) and exposure to NoSQL where needed. Integrate with messaging/event platforms like Kafka / RabbitMQ . Troubleshoot complex issues around performance, concurrency, JVM tuning , and distributed systems. Frontend (React.js) Build responsive UI using React.js , TypeScript/JavaScript , and modern component patterns. Manage state using Redux / Context API and integrate UI with backend APIs. Ensure UI performance optimization (memoization, lazy loading, code splitting). Work with frontend testing tools like Jest / React Testing Library (preferred). DevOps / Delivery Implement CI/CD using Jenkins / GitLab CI / GitHub Actions . Containerize services with Docker and deploy using Kubernetes . Work with cloud platforms (preferably Azure , AWS acceptable). Participate in code reviews, mentor engineers, and support production releases. Required Skills 10+ years overall experience in software engineering with strong Java backend depth. Strong in Core Java , Collections, Concurrency, JVM fundamentals. Strong hands-on in Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud . Strong experience in Microservices and distributed system patterns. Solid hands-on in React.js with TypeScript/JavaScript . Strong knowledge of REST APIs , authentication/authorization (OAuth2/JWT). Strong SQL skills and performance tuning experience. Messaging/event-driven experience ( Kafka preferred ). Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes , CI/CD pipelines. Good communication, ownership, and ability to drive technical discussions. Good to Have GraphQL, WebSockets Observability tools (ELK, Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog/New Relic) API gateway/service mesh experience Agile/Scrum experience Soft Skills Lead design discussions, make architecture decisions, guide teams. Strong collaboration across product, QA, DevOps, and business teams. Ownership mindset and delivery focus.
