Job Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Java + React) to support application readiness and enhancements during our on-prem to AWS Lift-and-Shift migration program. The engineer will work on application modernization, API integrations, cloud-native deployment adjustments, and UI/UX improvements to ensure smooth functionality in AWS. Key Responsibilities Application Migration Support Analyze and refactor Java-based backend services for compatibility with AWS environments. Update and optimize React-based frontends for cloud deployments. Work with Cloud Architect and DevOps teams to ensure applications align with migration strategies. Backend Development (Java) Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices in Java (Spring Boot preferred). Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and resilience in AWS. Integrate with AWS services (S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.). Frontend Development (React) Develop responsive, scalable, and user-friendly React applications. Optimize frontend build and deployment pipelines for cloud delivery. Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance user experience post-migration. Cloud & DevOps Collaboration Support containerization of applications (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS). Ensure CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline) are integrated. Collaborate with DevOps engineers for automated deployments in AWS. Testing & Quality Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for both backend and frontend. Ensure applications meet performance and security standards in cloud environments. Troubleshoot migration-related issues and ensure minimal downtime. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Experience 5-7 years of experience in full stack development. Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot / Microservices). Strong expertise in React.js (with Redux/Context, Hooks, modern JavaScript/TypeScript). Experience working on enterprise-scale applications and migrations. Technical Skills Backend: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate. Frontend: React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3. Databases: RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle), exposure to AWS RDS. Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFront). CI/CD & Tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation. Testing: JUnit, Jest, Cypress, Selenium. Certifications (Preferred) AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
