Job Title: Java Engineer ? Vulnerability & Bug Fixes Location: Gurugram (Hybrid) Experience Level: 6+ Years Job Summary: We're looking for experienced Java developers who thrive in a hands-on coding environment focused on fixing production bugs and remediating security vulnerabilities. This is a development-heavy role within an L3 support context?ideal for engineers who enjoy diving into code, resolving issues, and improving application stability and security. You won't be tasked with identifying vulnerabilities, but you'll be responsible for implementing fixes and enhancements across Java and Spring Boot applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deploy secure code fixes for known vulnerabilities in Java-based applications. Analyze and resolve production bugs, performance bottlenecks, and edge-case failures. Refactor legacy code to align with modern security and design standards. Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and security teams to validate fixes and ensure smooth releases. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain high code quality and documentation for all fixes and enhancements. Provide technical guidance and support for escalated L3 issues. Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Java , Spring Boot , and RESTful APIs , NodeJS Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate , Maven/Gradle , and unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito). Bonus: Knowledge of Docker , CICD pipelines , or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 6+ years of experience in Java development, with exposure to production support or vulnerability remediation. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with a developer mindset.
