Java Engineer

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Java Engineer to help design, build, and scale world-class software. In this role, you will develop high-availability, distributed systems, automate deployments, and work with modern enterprise frameworks. If you are passionate about clean code and event-driven architectures, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, scale, and debug software using distributed enterprise frameworks.
• Develop robust APIs and microservices.
• Automate deployments and monitor applications across test and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews, testing (TDD/BDD), and continuous integration.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Up to 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8+, with 11/17 being a major plus).
• Deep understanding of Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Solid working knowledge of Kafka and event-driven systems.
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub), and monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana).
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Bonus Points for:

• Experience with GoLang or reactive programming (Vert.x).
• Expertise in building and managing high-TPS (transactions per second) applications.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms and performance testing tools (JMeter).
• Relevant technical certifications.
