Job Summary Synechron is seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in Angular to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications that combine backend Java solutions with modern front-end interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, innovative digital solutions aligned with business objectives. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to key projects, improve technical processes, and stay current with evolving Java and front-end technologies. Software Requirements Required Skills: Proficiency in Java (Java SE 11+), with extensive experience in developing enterprise applications Strong expertise in Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts Hands-on experience with Angular (version 8+) for building responsive front-end interfaces Knowledge of Microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and Open API (Swagger) Database experience with Oracle (preferred) and familiarity with MySQL or SQL Server Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or NetBeans Use of version control systems such as Git Preferred Skills: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes Knowledge of build automation tools like Maven or Gradle Experience with BPM tools like Camunda or similar Knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth2, SSO, or JWT Overall Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java back-end applications with Angular frontend components Collaborate with business analysts and UI/UX teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and user-friendly interfaces Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and support system integration testing to ensure overall application quality Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, maintaining system stability and performance Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices and adopting new technologies Support deployment processes, including CI/CD pipelines and environment configurations Contribute to technical documentation, architecture design, and development standards Stay current on emerging Java, Angular, and related technologies to promote innovation Technical Skills (By Category) Programming Languages & Frameworks: Required: Java (Java SE 11+) with strong understanding of OOP principles Required: Angular (version 8+) for frontend application development Preferred: Java EE, TypeScript, additional front-end libraries or frameworks Database & Data Management: Required: Oracle database with proficiency in query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling Preferred: MySQL, SQL Server APIs & Integrations: Required: RESTful API development, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, API gateway integration Preferred: GraphQL DevOps & Build Tools: Required: Git for version control, Maven or Gradle for build automation Preferred: Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Security & Authentication: Required: Knowledge of secure API design, token management, SSO, OAuth2, JWT implementations Additional Technical Skills: Familiarity with BPM tools such as Camunda or equivalent workflow engines Understanding of performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring in distributed systems Experience Requirements 5 or more years of professional Java application development experience Proven experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks (minimum 3 years hands-on) Track record of building enterprise-scale applications and APIs in Agile environments Experience working within cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions Prior exposure to cloud deployment, containerization, and microservices is advantageous Day-to-Day Activities Develop robust Java back-end modules integrated with Angular-driven front ends Collaborate with product owners and UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces Optimize application performance through code refactoring, profiling, and testing Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in Agile setups Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards among team members Resolve technical issues promptly to ensure system reliability and availability Support deployment activities, including pipeline configuration and environment setup Document technical designs, API specifications, and system architecture updates Engage in ongoing learning, research new frameworks, libraries, and best practices Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional Java or Angular certifications are a plus Demonstrable experience with enterprise Java development and Angular-based UI solutions Continuous professional development through workshops, online courses, or certifications in relevant
