Industry & Sector: A fast-growing IT services and enterprise software company operating in the SaaS and product engineering space, delivering Java-based solutions for domains such as fintech, logistics, and healthcare. We build scalable backend systems and integrations for high-throughput, business-critical applications.

Primary Job Title: Java Developer

Location & Working Model: On-site role in India — candidates must be available to work from the assigned office.

Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot that power RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems.
Implement data persistence using Hibernate/JPA and optimise SQL queries for performance and scalability.
Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
Integrate applications with third-party APIs, messaging systems, and internal services; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps in an Agile environment to deliver features end-to-end and continuously improve delivery speed.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and container-ready builds to support deployment and runtime observability.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Strong Java development experience with Spring Boot and related Spring modules.
Proven experience building RESTful APIs and working with microservices principles.
Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases; strong SQL skills.
Familiarity with source control workflows using Git and dependency management with Maven/Gradle.
Practical knowledge of writing unit/integration tests and using debugging/profiling tools.
Ability to work on-site in India and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred

Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Exposure to CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) or caching technologies (Redis).
