This role involves hands-on development, architectural design, and mentoring of team members. The individual will play a key role in laying the foundation for a greenfield project, building frameworks, and establishing best practices. The position is based in Pune or Bangalore and includes dotted reporting responsibilities across five team members. What You?ll Do Lead the design and implementation of scalable Java-based microservices using Camunda BPMN. Define architecture and create high-level design artefacts for process automation in the CARE domain. Deliver high-quality code and support shared modules across teams. Build proof of concepts and expand Camunda capability within VOIS. Mentor and train Java developers to upskill in Camunda BPMN. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project execution. Support management in growing the process automation footprint for VOIS in Solstice. Ensure performance, scalability, and security of applications. Apply strong data modelling and API management practices. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and cloud platform integration. Who You Are Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Camunda BPMN and associated tools. Strong Java development background with expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices. Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging platforms (preferably Kafka). Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Excellent analytical, technical communication, and coaching skills. Degree in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline. Pragmatic and forward-looking approach to design and development. Collaborative team player with the ability to guide and influence peers. Experience in defining technology approaches and resolving complex technical challenges. Not a perfect fit?
