Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with 3–5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases, along with a passion for building high-performance, secure, and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with frontend applications and third-party systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with databases to design schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow Agile development practices.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Good understanding of software design principles and object-oriented programming.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
