Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Fresher Java Backend Developer to join our Telecom/Billing engineering team. The role involves working on Spring Boot–based microservices, REST APIs, and backend systems supporting high-volume telecom transactions such as campaigns, billing, and usage tracking. This role offers strong learning opportunities under senior developer mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in developing and maintaining Java Spring Boot backend services
- Work on RESTful APIs used in telecom and billing systems
- Implement basic business logic for billing, usage tracking, and reporting
- Work with relational databases for data storage and retrieval
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards
- Debug issues and support fixes in development and production environments
- Learn and apply microservices best practices
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams

Required Skills:

- Basic to good knowledge of Core Java (OOP concepts, collections, exceptions)
- Understanding of Spring Boot fundamentals
- Knowledge of REST APIs and HTTP concepts
- Basic SQL knowledge (MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle)
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems
- Understanding of basic software development lifecycle

Good to Have:

- Knowledge of Spring Data JPA / Hibernate
- Awareness of Microservices architecture
- Basic understanding of authentication concepts (JWT)
- Exposure to Docker or cloud platforms
- Familiarity with telecom or billing concepts
- Basic Linux command knowledge
