Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate).
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to support frontend and mobile applications.
Optimize backend performance for high-load systems and ensure application stability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and product managers, to implement end-to-end solutions.
Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and procedures, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain system reliability.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in backend development.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Java and familiarity with frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, or JPA.
Experience with REST APIs and building microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Understanding of version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
1–5 years of professional experience in backend development using Java.
