We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist In this role, you will API Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for API services, ensuring availability, performance, and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services. Monitoring & Performance Analysis: Use AppDynamics, Splunk, and other monitoring tools to analyse and monitor API performance, identify bottlenecks, and suggest optimizations. Cloud Infrastructure Support: Collaborate with the cloud infrastructure team to ensure APIs are deployed and running efficiently in cloud environments such as AWS, or Google Cloud. DevOps Integration: Work with DevOps teams to automate API deployment processes using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo, ensuring a smooth development-to-production workflow. Log Management & Analysis: Leverage Splunk to monitor logs, set up dashboards, and analyse patterns in log data to identify and fix issues in real time. Incident Management: Lead the incident management process for API issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime. Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support for critical systems. Change Management: Lead the change management process with seniors. Actively contribute in ensuring quality checks are performed while approving a change, tracking change deployment till closure including incident caused and RCA for the same, automate the change management process. Continuous Improvement: Learning changes happening in larger eco-system and improving incident management, change management, Level1 support best practices, capacity management etc. to provide world class services. Lead a team of support engineers and keeping their motivation high for providing world class service support To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: 12+ years of experience in production support and service management of critical applications running on Java/Springboot including leading team of engineers Strong experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), particularly with API hosting and scaling in a cloud environment. Proficiency in using AppDynamics for performance monitoring and issue resolution. Hands-on experience with Splunk for log management, dashboard creation, and alerting. Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience working with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and related technologies. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex API and integration issues. Solid understanding of networking, security, and authentication/authorization for APIs (OAuth, JWT, etc.). Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with additional monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog or Grafana. Qualifications Graduate / Postgraduate Role Specific certification is recommended.
