Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Java API Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java-based development, microservices architecture, and API integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop high-performance RESTful APIs using Java

Build and maintain microservices-based architecture

Collaborate with frontend teams and external systems for API integration

Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code

Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization

Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of applications

Work closely with DevOps for deployment and CI/CD pipelines

Participate in system design and architecture discussions

Required Skills & Experience

4–8 years of experience in Java development

Strong Hands-on Experience With

Java 8+

Spring Boot / Spring MVC

REST API development

Experience with Microservices architecture

Good Knowledge Of

SQL / NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)

API security (OAuth2, JWT)

Familiarity With

Docker / Kubernetes

CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)

Understanding of design patterns and system design principles

Good to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Exposure to Kafka / messaging systems

Knowledge of API Gateway and service mesh
