Position Description: Job Title: Lead Analyst Position: Java Developer Experience: 6 to 8 Years Category: Software Development/ Engineering Shift: 11 AM to 8 PM Main location: India, Telangana, Hyderabad Employment Type: Full Time Your future duties and responsibilities Job Description: CGI is looking for a highly experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java 21, Spring Framework, and Microservices Architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using modern development practices, container platforms, and CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java 21 and the Spring Framework. Build and manage microservices architectures ensuring high performance and reliability. Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure comprehensive Swagger API documentation. Work with databases such as Oracle and MongoDB, optimizing queries and data flows. Integrate caching solutions using Redis for performance improvement. Deploy and manage applications on container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment. Ensure application security, scalability, and performance optimization. Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and mentoring of junior developers. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Required Skills: 6+ years of experience in backend development. Strong programming skills in Java 21 and hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.). Proven experience in developing and deploying microservices. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Proficiency in Oracle and MongoDB databases. Hands-on experience with Redis for caching mechanisms. Ability to create and maintain API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
