Jasper Reports Developer (4–5 Years Experience)

Experience

• 4–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in Jasper Reports development (Versions 6 & 7).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Jasper Reports (Versions 6 & 7) based on business requirements.
• Develop and enhance reports, dashboards, and data visualization solutions using Jasper Reports.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects using Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and development teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver high-quality reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing reports and reporting infrastructure.
• Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Ensure report performance optimization and adherence to coding and reporting standards.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Jasper Reports Versions 6 & 7.
• Good experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience in report development, report customization, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git is preferred.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Added Advantage

• Exposure to UI technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, AngularJS/Angular 14, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Full Stack Java development and integration of reporting solutions with web applications is preferred.
• Experience working in Agile development environments is a plus.

Preferred Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
