Good to have strong Japanese–English language proficiency (spoken, written, and comprehension) with hands-on experience in translation, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to participate effectively in complex Japanese business and operational discussions.
Key Accountabilities
Provide specialist support within the assigned discipline to service delivery teams, ensuring timely resolution of tasks, issues, and queries to maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction.
Analyze trends and potential risks within the specialist area, proactively identifying issues and working with management to implement effective resolution and improvement strategies.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact for specialist support needs.
Plan, organize, and manage work effectively in line with evolving business priorities to achieve service objectives and targets.
Communicate clearly and professionally with diverse stakeholders, ensuring accurate and appropriate exchange of information related to the specialist domain.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve relevant data, documentation, SOPs, and processes to sustain and enhance service standards.
Demonstrate business awareness by understanding the impact of the role on productivity, efficiency, and cost control.
Take ownership of continuous learning and personal development to enhance individual contribution and overall team capability.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality Japanese–English (JP–EN) and English–Japanese (EN–JP) translations.
Create, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with minimal supervision.
Support and coordinate projects involving Japanese clients.
Provide guidance and functional support to a small team as required.
Required Skills
Strong written, verbal, and comprehension skills in Japanese and English
JLPT N2 or N3 required; JLPT N1 highly desirable.
Proven experience working with Japanese clients and stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong coordination and team-handling abilities.
Having AI skillset will be added advantage.
