Role Description The Italian Restaurant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, managing shifts, and ensuring smooth service during all operating hours. Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, monitoring customer satisfaction, resolving guest concerns, and implementing service improvements. The role involves hiring and training team members, coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house staff, managing inventory and supplies, and supporting basic budgeting and cost control. The Manager will also uphold health, safety, and hygiene regulations, ensure consistent communication across the team, and contribute to promotional activities and special events.
Qualifications
  • Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and a focus on Customer Satisfaction.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage operations, ideally within Italian or casual fine dining restaurants.
  • Demonstrated ability in Hiring, onboarding, and coaching restaurant staff.
  • Excellent Communication skills for coordinating with team members, suppliers, and guests.
  • Prior experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of restaurant hygiene standards, safety regulations, and basic POS and reservation systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage peak-hour pressure.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
