IT Tester (AU Construction, Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (6:00AM - 3:00PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

This role is responsible for conducting manual and automated testing to ensure that the software created is fit for purpose. It involves analysis of software and systems to avert risk and prevent software issues. A key focus of the role is to ensure all testing tasks are completed within estimated times, to quality and accuracy.

You will partner with the development team to plan, test and implement software changes to ensure that products conform to the desired quality standard. They are accountable for defects and ensuring that the systems are operational and business ready.

Skills Required

The Tester is integral within the IT Program Delivery Team and plays a pivotal role for ensuring the functionality, usability, and security of our IT solutions. You will work closely with our project teams; business analyst,

development and design teams.

In This Role, You Will

• Examine and evaluate solutions for usability and functionality.
• Identify, record, and report bugs, errors, and testing issues.
• Conduct tests to ensure solutions are secure and functioning properly.
• Perform and document risk analysis and prepare test plans and scenarios.
• Execute various testing methods, including manual, automated, and stress testing.
• Collaborate with our developers and designers to improve solution performance and design.
• Review and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest testing trends and tools.
  
  

What will you do?

• Work with software development teams including users to understand the scope and requirements of projects to deliver the testing outcomes.
• Collaborate with development team to develop effective test plans.
• Design, write and execute test scenarios and test scripts both manual and automated; as well as analyzing testing results.
• Undertake testing activities including functional, integration, regression and post implementation testing for each release cycle.
• Report and track the resolution of defects as they are found during testing.
• Working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Develop test reports.
• Develop automated testing capability if required.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Undertake any additional duties that are within your skill set and safe
