About The Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Solution Architect to join our Gore Center of Excellence team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing solutions primarily hosted in Azure. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and create solutions that enhance business processes and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with our technical landscape, with a strong focus on maintainability and supportability.
Splitting up complex solutions into smaller deliverables and creating their technical specifications.
Participate in, or lead when needed, governance processes including intake, prioritization, roadmap planning and root cause analysis.
Oversee and ensure the development, quality, and delivery of solutions.
Ensure development standards, architecture patterns, and security best practices are followed and contribute new or improvements to existing ones.
Provide and facilitate ongoing support and maintenance for existing solutions.
Staying up to date on developments in the industry, implement and evaluate new ideas in the team.
Hands-on involvement in delivery and support of solutions when required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong ability to analyze requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and oversee technical delivery.
Experience managing technical priorities, timelines, mitigation strategies, and technical roadmaps.
Strong ability to create documentation for decisions, architecture, guidelines, knowledge bases for technical and non-technical audience.
Proven ability to create technical specifications for engineers and/or AI.
Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including designing complex cloud-based application architectures.
Expertise with Infrastructure as Code on Azure, especially using Bicep to architect, declaratively manage, and govern cloud infrastructure.
Proven ability to define, enforce, and review software quality standards and codebase best practices, such as test automation.
Experience in CI/CD processes.
Effective communication with the ability to collaborate with global team members and stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Travel ~10%.

Desired Qualifications

Azure certifications and experience with SAP integrations
Experience with AI-assisted software development, Power Platform, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and related Azure services.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and working in an international multi-cultural environment
