Job Title: IT Security Administrator
Location: Springboro, OH | Onsite

Our client is seeking an IT Security Administrator to support and enhance cybersecurity operations for both government contracting and commercial environments. This role focuses on NIST/CMMC compliance, cybersecurity operations, proactive monitoring, infrastructure administration, investigative support for security incidents, and Tier 3 technical support across cloud and on-premise environments.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys balancing cybersecurity, systems administration, infrastructure support, and end-user engagement in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

Implement, manage, and support NIST/CMMC compliance initiatives for GovCon and commercial clients
Monitor, investigate, and support cybersecurity systems and potential security incidents
Install, configure, and maintain cloud-based and on-premise networks, systems, and applications
Deploy and support infrastructure including firewalls, LAN/WAN environments, wireless networks, switches, servers, and office systems
Support Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, email systems, intranet platforms, and hosted applications
Provide Tier 3 technical support, troubleshooting, incident response, and both onsite and remote end-user support
Assist with server, network, and cloud infrastructure administration and maintenance
Troubleshoot software, hardware, networking, and systems issues, including repair and replacement as needed
Analyze and test new hardware and software configurations
Maintain technical documentation, procedures, reports, knowledgebase articles, and policy documentation
Support client implementation projects through deployment and operational handoff
Update and maintain DNS records, websites, applications, and content management systems
Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings and weekends as needed
Travel domestically as required for client support and project delivery

Required Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in systems support, network administration, cloud infrastructure, or related IT support environments
Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments including Azure, Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender ATP, and Microsoft Purview
Experience configuring and supporting firewalls, VPNs, and Layer 3/4 switches
Experience supporting Active Directory and Windows Server environments
Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, infrastructure, and networking environments
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows 10/11
Experience supporting and deploying Apple/Mac devices
Experience installing software, patches, and system updates across desktops, laptops, and servers
Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to support users at varying technical skill levels
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while contributing within distributed teams
Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+ certifications
Experience with NIST/CMMC compliance frameworks and documentation
Experience within Department of Defense (DoD) environments
Microsoft 365 administration experience including Intune and Entra ID
Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
Experience with SIEM solutions
