IT Procurement Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Engineer to manage end‑to‑end procurement of IT hardware, software, security solutions, data center services, and licenses. The role requires strong commercial acumen, vendor management expertise, and the ability to handle large transactional volumes with efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) cycle: requisition, vendor evaluation, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice processing, and payment.
• Manage procurement of IT hardware, software, security, data center services, and licenses.
• Drive RFX processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) and negotiate contracts to optimize cost and quality.
• Ensure compliance with CAPEX/OPEX budgets, O&M contracts, and governance standards.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to SLAs and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Legal, IT) for contract finalization and audit readiness.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and vendor consolidation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of IT Procurement experience with proven ability to manage large transactional volumes.
• Strong knowledge of IT categories: hardware, software, security, data center, licenses.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, vendor governance, and compliance management.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/procurement tools (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
