Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Security & DevOps Manager to lead the security, governance, and operational management of our Salesforce environments. This role requires deep expertise in managing multiple Salesforce orgs (including managed package orgs and code-driven orgs), implementing robust DevOps processes, and overseeing internal IT operations to ensure compliance, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Data Security

• Define and implement data security policies, including role hierarchy, permission sets, field-level security, and sharing rules.
• Manage encryption, data masking, and data residency controls to protect sensitive information.
• Conduct security audits, compliance checks, and penetration testing within Salesforce environments.
• Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, etc.).
  
  

• Oversee multiple Salesforce orgs, including production, sandbox, developer, and managed package environments.
• Manage Org strategy, governance, and integration architecture.
• Coordinate package upgrades, dependency management, and change deployment across environments.
• Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and system health.
  
  

• Lead Salesforce DevOps lifecycle: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release management, and version control (Git-based).
• Implement tools like Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps for continuous delivery.
• Ensure code quality standards, code reviews, and best practices (Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs).
• Drive automation for deployments, monitoring, and rollback strategies.
  
  

• Oversee identity and access management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Manage internal IT infrastructure, including device management, VPNs, productivity tools, and integrations with Salesforce.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and legal teams to maintain IT governance.
• Provide L2/L3 support escalation for IT systems impacting Salesforce operations.
  
  

• 7+ years of Salesforce administration and security experience.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and development best practices.
• Proven expertise in DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, GitHub, etc.).
• Experience managing multiple Salesforce orgs and packaged solutions.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Hands-on experience with IT operations, SSO, MFA, and endpoint security.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  
  

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Working knowledge of data governance and MDM (Master Data Management).
• Background in network security and ITIL processes.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior admins/developers.
