IT Infrastructure Engineer

The Infrastructure Cloud Engineer will support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the company's cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and SaaS platforms. Working closely with the Security, Engineering, and IT Operations teams, this role helps ensure cloud environments are secure, reliable, and scalable. The engineer will assist with cloud governance, automation, identity integrations, and operational tasks that support business continuity, compliance, and performance objectives. This position provides opportunities to develop cloud engineering skills while contributing to initiatives that improve efficiency, resilience, and overall platform performance.

Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and hybrid infrastructures to ensure reliability, security, and performance.

Support the management of identity and access controls, including IAM permissions, role-based access, and integrations with Okta and Azure AD under the guidance of the Security team.

Help automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration tasks using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, PowerShell, or Workato to improve consistency and operational efficiency.

Monitor cloud resources and system performance, assist with cost optimization efforts, and help maintain tagging standards and alerting mechanisms.

Work with the Security team to implement cloud security controls, including encryption, access management, network security, and compliance-related requirements.

Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and IT Operations teams to support cloud migrations, SaaS/PaaS administration, and disaster recovery initiatives.

Maintain and update technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.

Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide operational support, escalating complex problems to senior engineers when appropriate.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and self-service resources to improve team efficiency and user support.

Support ongoing improvements to cloud governance, automation processes, and monitoring capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

Assist with cloud cost management activities, including resource tracking, reporting, and vendor administration as needed.

Participate in incident response activities, troubleshooting efforts, and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues.

Contribute to infrastructure, cloud, and IT projects as assigned, and perform other duties as required to support business objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing enterprise cloud environments.
• Hands-on expertise in AWS and Azure administration, including IAM, networking, storage, and compute services.
• Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation platforms such as Terraform, CloudFormation, PowerShell, or Workato.
• Familiarity with Okta, Azure AD, and SSO/MFA integrations.
• Strong understanding of network security, cost management, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
