Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Recruiter to join our HR team. The IT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring technical candidates for a variety of IT roles. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, attract qualified candidates, and help build a strong technical team.


Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Recruiting:

  • Use various channels (job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to identify and source potential IT candidates.
  • Conduct initial screenings to determine candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and technical expertise.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified IT professionals for future hiring needs.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress, candidate pipeline, and market trends.

Interviewing & Evaluation:

  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidate skills and experience.
  • Administer technical assessments and work with hiring managers to evaluate technical proficiency.
  • Facilitate feedback and follow-up with candidates in a timely manner.

Candidate Management:

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage offer negotiations and ensure successful onboarding of new hires.

Recruitment Strategy:

  • Stay updated on IT industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive hiring practices.
  • Utilize data and analytics to improve recruitment efficiency and quality of hires.

Compliance:

  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment processes.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 0 to 1 year of IT recruitment experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
  • Familiarity with various technical roles (e.g., Software Developers, Network Engineers, System Administrators, Data Scientists, etc.).
  • Experience with recruitment platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of technical job descriptions and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with campus recruitment, hackathons, or other tech-related hiring events.
  • Technical background or IT certifications (a plus).
