ABOUT GENTLE MONEY
Gentle Money is an AI-powered investment platform offering personalised financial insights across multiple asset classes. The platform features AI-curated news summaries with portfolio impact analysis, a multi-asset discovery engine covering Equities, Mutual Funds, Commodities, and Currencies, and a comprehensive portfolio tracking suite for Stocks, Mutual Funds, Fixed Deposits, and ETFs built for both retail and HNI investors.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an intellectually curious and detail-oriented Investment Research Analyst to join our Research & Advisory team. You will work at the intersection of financial research, product development, and content helping shape how Gentle Money surfaces insights to its users and builds its investment intelligence capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative research on mutual funds and other investment instruments to support the platform's data-driven insight engine.
Analyse financial data, identify patterns and trends, and translate findings into actionable insights for the product and advisory teams.
Review and quality-check technical finance and personal finance blogs produced by the content team, ensuring accuracy, depth, and clarity.
Write well-researched, engaging blogs and long-form financial content for the Gentle Money platform.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Content teams on content strategy, campaigns, and financial communication initiatives.
Work closely with the Tech and Development teams to structure and contextualise financial data for accurate and meaningful display on the app and website.
Partner with the Design team to determine the most impactful information hierarchy and visual presentation of financial insights.
Support the day-to-day functioning of the Research department, including maintaining research databases, tracking market developments, and contributing to internal reports.

REQUIREMENTS

Education
Graduate Degree
Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred

Certifications
CFP / CFA Level 1 or Level 2
Preferred, not mandatory

Domain Knowledge
Mutual Funds
Strong working understanding required

NISM Certification
X-A & X-B
Preferred

Experience
Finance Industry
Prior experience in investment research or fintech preferred

Excellent written communication skills — comfortable writing both technical research and reader-friendly content.
Collaborative by nature, with the ability to work across research, product, tech, and design teams.
