Investment Associate (Aviation Assets)

Role Overview

The Investment Associate (Aviation Assets) supports the evaluation and valuation of aviation assets, with a primary focus on aircraft, engines, and airframe components. This mid‑level role leverages established industry relationships to deliver accurate valuations, manage the portfolio, and support marketing/remarketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform asset evaluations for aircraft, engines, APUs, airframes and components (including rotables and repairables), including fair market and liquidation value assessments
• Analyze inbound and off‑lease assets to support asset valuation/purchasing decisions, lease pricing, re‑lease decisions, and portfolio strategy
• Maintain current market intelligence through industry relationships with OEMs, lessors, operators, MROs, brokers, and appraisers
• Maintain valuation models, asset data, and supporting documentation
• Support portfolio management through asset lifecycle tracking and value trend analysis
• Assist with marketing and remarketing of off‑lease aviation assets in coordination with commercial teams

Qualifications

Required:

• 3–7 years of experience in aviation asset valuation, leasing, appraisal, or asset management
• Direct experience valuing or pricing airframe components (e.g., rotables, repairables, landing gear, APUs, avionics)
• Established industry relationships across aircraft, engine, and airframe component markets
• Proven experience in aviation asset pricing, teardown, or aftermarket operations
• Strong analytical and financial assessment skills
• Ability to collaborate across portfolio, sales, and marketing teams
• Detail‑oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Airline, MRO, or parts trading experience
• Experience reading technical documentation
• Experience working through deal logistics including contract terms, fulfilment, and inspections

Nice to have:

• Coding abilities or advanced data analysis
• Quality Management System familiarity

• Primary: Aviation asset evaluations, with emphasis on airframe components
• Secondary: Portfolio support and asset marketing/remarketing
