Internet of Things Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AWS IoT Solution Develope with a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying scalable IoT solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on expertise in AWS IoT services, Python development, and cloud-native architecture, along with experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CDK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end IoT solutions on AWS Cloud.
• Architect scalable, secure, and highly available IoT platforms and applications.
• Develop backend services and integrations using Python.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and release management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure security, monitoring, and reliability of IoT applications and services.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture.
• AWS Certified Developer certification.
• Strong experience in building and deploying AWS-based IoT solutions.
• Expert-level programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD implementation using AWS CDK.
• Strong knowledge of the following AWS services:
• AWS IoT Core
• AWS Amplify
• AWS AppSync
• AWS Lambda
• Amazon DynamoDB
• Amazon Timestream
• AWS CloudFormation
• Amazon Kinesis
• Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and architecture best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in large-scale IoT implementations.
• Knowledge of device connectivity, telemetry ingestion, and real-time data processing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
