Key ResponsibilitiesClient Interaction: Understand client needs, goals, budget, and project vision through meetings and consultations.Design Development: Conceptualize, sketch, and create detailed plans (floor plans, 3D renderings) using design software like AutoCAD or Revit.Space Planning: Optimize space utilization for functionality, safety, and aesthetics.Material Selection: Choose color schemes, finishes, furniture, lighting, and decor.Project Management: Estimate costs, set timelines, prepare bid documents, and manage budgets.Coordination: Work with architects, contractors, tradespeople (electricians, painters), and suppliers.Compliance: Research and adhere to building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards (ADA).Presentation: Develop mood boards and presentations to showcase design concepts to clients.Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits to oversee installation and ensure design integrity.
